posted on 3/30/2008 IMG_72701.jpg Smokey Den Birthday Pavillion Complete How awesome would it be to have your birthday right next to a North American Black Bear.  Well now you can.  We have just finished our Smokey Den Pavillion which is available for birthday parties or company picnics.  You'll have the opportunity to feed, as well as watch other visitors feed him grapes and the occasional Krispy Kreme Donut Hole. If you want something different you can also book your birthday party at our Koda Den Pavillion,  Sabi Sabi Pavillion, or one of our birthday party rooms.  Reservations are going fast so book your birthday party today.

posted on 1/4/2008 2008 Volunteer Opportunities As a volunteer you can learn about and work beside our animals. We need volunteers to help with cage construction, vehicle and site maintenance, landscaping, clerical work, transporting donated food and other items and fund raising, as well as animal care. Please, only committed people apply.Ages start at fifteen years of ageBefore you volunteer at our facility you must participate in a training day to learn how to work safely at our site. Before starting all volunteers need to purchase a solid earth tone long or short sleve shirt. All volunteers wear logo/name printed shirts. posted on 1/3/2008 Tiger Safari's 2008 New Addition Baby Red Kangaroo Boomerang Tiger Safari is proud to announce our newest addition for 2008, Boomerang our three month old baby Red Kangaroo. Come out and hug and have your picture with our new addition starting Saturday January 5th.With the new year Tiger Safari has many plans for new exhibits as well as completing our new Educational Center/Bed and Breakfast. posted on 11/1/2007 bear_cage1.jpg Smokey the Bear's cage Smokey the Bear's cage is now built. Veterinarian J.T. Walker along with park staff and volunteers moved Smokey into his new cage last Sunday. In the upcoming months Smokey's 10,000 square foot cage will have a water fall pool/shade pavillion and a pavillion built for public viewing in front of the cage. The front of the cage will be fully glassed for closer viewing and hosting Smokey's Den Birthday parties.
